About the Song

My friend died last year and the night before his funeral I knew I had a recording of him and myself singing a Beatles song in my parent’s house way back in the 70s. I found the cassette and was curious to see what else was on the tape. I found a song idea which I must have started and just put aside for nearly 40 years and thought I’ll finish that one – so I did!
The idea being a little bit of fun and nothing serious
Update Jan 21st 2017 - Much to my embarrassment that recording of mine from the 70s wasn't me working on one of my songs but me trying to learn a Darts song of the same name written by Ian Collier. Not knowing this 37 years later I've re-written most of it thinking it was an original song of mine much to utter embarrassment - I've contacted PRS etc and changing the writing ownership.

I asked the wonderful Amy Chalmers to sing this as well – as well as being an amazing Violin player she has a wonderful voice and boy can she harmonise.
