Congratulations to the above songwriters. I'll be contacting you in the New Year with details of the Showcase Final on Saturday 22nd January 2021 at LEAF on Bold St.

Tickets for the Showcase Final go on sale soon. Keep an eye out for the press release which will include a ticket link. You don't need to wait for this to announce it to the world!

For those of you who didn't claim a place at the Showcase Final I hope you still found the process a worthwhile experience and that you are able to make it along to the Showcase Final to support the other songwriters. The standard of entries this year was as high as ever and I'd like to thank all five judges for their efforts.

I'd like to thank Jon Lawton of Crosstown Studios for co-sponsoring the prize for this year's Songwriting Challenge. If you have any audio recording needs then drop Jon a line to find out more. Quite a few participants from previous years have used Crosstown Studios and have been so happy with the service that they keep going back. Details can be found at crosstownstudios.co.uk

Thanks also to Kaya Herstad Carney for providing the vocal and songwriting prizes, courtesy of her new venture HCHQ Ltd, and to Luke Moore for offering a free cello lesson or cello arrangement for the winners!

Thanks also to Robert Vincent and Alison Benson who, like the other judges, were very gracious with their time.

My final thanks goes to Songwriting Challenge patron Stephen Langstaff. Although he's no longer a judge his ongoing support is very much appreciated.

Once again thanks for taking part. I hope it's inspired you to write more!

Yours,
