Last Night of The Summer Tour - Philharmonic Pub Liverpool

Well, we got there in the end – “Last night of the Summer Tour” and what a way to finish off with a performance in front of my friends and family in my hometown at “The Philharmonic Dining Rooms” with performances from my special guest’s “Marc Vormawah” and “Only Child”.

It was so lovely to see so many lovely supporters of live music in the same room giving their love to us all.

The whole tour has been an experience for me and there are so many highs that anything that went wrong, such as train problems, were well worth it in the end.

There are so many thank you’s that I am bound to miss someone out and I apologise if I have but I do need to give mention to the following:

Pippa Murdie – My wonderful music partner for each show who had to put up with the same jokes and stories every night and who gave me great support throughout. Here’s to the next one x

Lynn for letting me do this and being doorman, bouncer on most nights. You have the job next time x

Fretsore Records (Ian, Brendan, and John) for their encouragement and support not just the tour but everything around the album release and promotion.

Alan O’Hare – For all the PR stuff around the tour

My Special Music Guests on the tour – I was able to have 18 other acts play over the whole tour which was 27 different musicians – thank you so much for agreeing to be part of this

Arts Council England – who supported the making of the “If you Cant Forgive You Cant Love” album session and tour in support of it.

Audience – Big love to the people who came out to support us all on my ten dates – without you I may as well as stayed home and to anyone who bought an album – not just mine by the way – any of the artists, it makes us songwriters and artists feel like what we are doing is being supported.

Venues – For those taking a chance and putting us on, for those allowing me to book a room for live Music

PA People – thank you for coming out and making us sound as good as you were able to

Radio Broadcasters and magazines who gave us their time and space to help with the promotion of the tour.

Again, apologies if I missed anyone – My head still a bit tired from the last 2 weeks and now looking forward to a few days of sleep lol – John xxx

Anyone interested in what songs me, and Pippa performed over the ten nights here is a list of the songs and how many times we played each song:
