Week number 7 on my weekly blog. 

Hope everyone is keeping safe and well 

  

This week’s tune is a song from my most recent album “Growing Old – Songs From My Front Porch” and one of my own particular favourite songs. 

I hope you enjoy it 

It’s been a strange week – I’m still waiting for my funding to come through so I can contact people and get things moving pretty quickly. 

I applied to play the AMAUK 2021 showcases in January but was unsuccessful (again). Very disappointed but these things are not very easy to be picked up for. 

This week’s listening has been quite varied – Been playing a lot of Nordic Folk Music to get a few tracks together for my Sunday Radio Show – Had to choose 14 tracks which was very difficult as there are so many brilliant tracks. 

Enjoyed playing Lee Shone’s “Never Sing the Blues” a few more times this week. 

TV – As usual I’m way behind on  catching up on TV shows so finally got to see “Chernobyl” which was very good and worrying 

Reading – Just finished reading a book about “Gods of Ancient Egypt” and now on to an Omnibus of 3 George Simenon tales
