Hi friends, 

Week number 8 on my weekly blog. 

Hope everyone is keeping safe and well and looking forward to Christmas (if that’s possible with so many things going on?) 

  

This week’s tune is a song from my most recent album “Growing Old – Songs From My Front Porch” 

This is called “Dying By Inches” and also features Pippa Murdie on Backing Vocals and Mandolin. 

This was taken from my first “Live stream” from 2 nights ago for House of Scouse – Scousefest.

It’s been a couple of weeks since my last Blog. The main reason is that I have been waiting for a little mixing desk to arrive and had some pc problems as well. All now resolved (fingers crossed) 

Great news to pass on is that my “funding” has come through from The Arts Council Lottery Fund. 

This means work on my new album can start in January 2021 although I have a few tracks in the can and a few partly started. It’s a pretty exciting time at the moment. I also have an important announcement I’ll be making soon about who will be releasing the album. 

This week’s listening has been quite varied as usual, Mary Chapin Carpenter, New Album by Paul McCartney, New Album by Bruce Springsteen and lots of Christmas Carol CD’s. 

TV – Finally got to see “Twin Peaks – The Return” It’s only taken me 3 years to see Reading – Currently reading a biography about one of my favourite actors “John Thaw” by his wife Sheila Hancock.
