Who Took The Stars Out Of The Sky? by Sister Lee 

Sat 26th Sept 2020 - I have been working on a couple of EP.s over the last few months . One is a 5 track EP called "Desert Hearts" which will be a John Jenkins release. The second is a 5 track EP which are songs i have written and i have asked 5 different female singers to sing my songs. 

The first song to be released is this song "Who Took The Stars Out Of The Sky" which is sung by Sister Lee (aka Eileen Bridges) a 67 local singer songwriter - Here is  some information about her

Sister Lee releases her debut single “Who Took The Stars Out Of The Sky” on October 2nd 2020 at the age of 67 

Sister Lee is Liverpool born Eileen Bridges Aka as Lee / The Lee taken from her Christian name, and the Sister with reference to her Catholic School, were Eileen was taught be Convent Nuns (Sisters of Mercy). 

Sister Lee's music journey began from the cradle. Living in a poor Liverpool seaport, Music was a great strength to support all the local community and family especially the occasional Family get together listening to Gospel , Jim Reeves / Ink Spots / Hank Williams, and old Sea Shanties , she says “how could she not become obsessed with music”. 

Sister Lee’s take on is influenced greatly by the likes of Nina Simone / Bob Dylan / Beatles / The Everly. Eileen plays locally at various open mics around the Merseyside area and the occasional Busk in Liverpool. She hosts the occasional event and a member of a local group called “Melody Makers”
