We spent the summer picking cotton in the fields
When the rain came it brought us to our knees
Me I’m just a farmer support my wife and family
When times get tough we pray a lot for what we need

I’ve seen so many folks die it no longer scares me

Although times may be hard there’s always someone who’s a little bit off worst
I know that I’m a good and I put my family first
You need Faith to get through each day or life becomes a curse
