🌟 Exciting News — Supporting Charlie Dore on 28 May 2026 I’m delighted to share that Pippa Murdie and I will be supporting the wonderful Charlie Dore at her Still Curious tour date on 28th May 2026.

Charlie is one of the UK’s most quietly influential and consistently brilliant songwriters — a true artist’s artist. Her songs have been recorded by Tina Turner, George Harrison, Céline Dion, Martha Wainwright, Ricky Ross, Paul Carrack and many more, yet her own live shows are something uniquely special: warm, witty, emotionally sharp, and full of musical craft.

Joined by her long‑time collaborator Julian Littman, the two create a world of stories, instrument‑swapping, humour, and beautifully observed songwriting. Recent accolades include FATEA Female Vocalist of the Year and Best Lyrics (US Indie Acoustic), and the reviews speak for themselves:

“Earnest and witty, tender and cynical all at the same time” — RnR Magazine

“One of our most intelligent and erudite singer‑songwriters” — FATEA

“Brave, poignant, entertaining, original” — The Guardian ★★★★

“A voice like Kate McGarrigle meets Dory Previn. Wonderful” — Mike Harding

“One of this country’s finest songwriters” — Americana UK

Pippa and I are thrilled to open the night. For anyone new to my music: I’m a Liverpool‑born folk/Americana songwriter with a love of storytelling and melody. I’ve been lucky enough to support artists including Chris Difford (Squeeze), Jarrod Dickenson, Robert Vincent, Dean Owens, and Steve Tilston, and I’m really looking forward to sharing the stage with Charlie.

It’s going to be a beautiful night of songs, stories, and proper musicianship
