ARKATUS
'A new acoustic band from Birmingham playing mainly original songs. Featuring female lead vocals, violin, guitars and percussion
Shy Face Troubadour
Shy Face Troubadour serves as a fresh platform for the musical works of Tony Willé (not to be confused with the Dutch country artist of the same name). With a deep appreciation for lyrics and melody, his compositions are characterized by vibrant chord choices and distinctive progressions. His songwriting spans a variety of styles, driven by inspiration rather than adherence to a single genre—though an acoustic guitar often finds its place within his arrangements.
Willé has been an active presence in the Midlands music scene, performing with bands such as The DAY, PARMA VIOLETS, and most notably, the cult indie band FELT. As a troubadour, his reserved nature contrasts with his passion for intimate live performances, where he feels most at home engaging with audiences and drawing energy from their connection.
“… a beautifully crafted piece of topical songwriting… (he's been) honing his craft as a songwriter for 30 years, and it shows. ”
