It’s with real disappointment that we have to announce the cancellation of our show at the Indigo Room Café in Rock Ferry, which was scheduled for 11 June 2026.

 

Despite a huge amount of effort from everyone involved — Facebook ads, printed flyers, radio interviews, and plenty of social media promotion — ticket sales simply didn’t come through this time. We know times are tough for many people right now, and that’s likely played a big part. Still, with no advance audience and no sign of late sales, it wouldn’t have made sense to go ahead with the event.

 

What makes this especially hard is that only two weeks ago at The Quirky Café, the room was buzzing. So many people told us how much they loved the show and that they’d be there on the 11th. We’re genuinely grateful for every kind word and every person who showed interest. But as has become increasingly common, leaving ticket purchases until the last minute can unfortunately mean that a show can’t go ahead — as happened here.

 

It’s a double blow personally: not only have we lost the opportunity to play, but we’ve also lost the deposit and the investment put into promoting the night. I also feel for everyone who put time and energy into helping us get the word out.

 

A heartfelt thank you to Golfo and the team at the Indigo Café for taking a chance on us and supporting the idea from the start. We hope this isn’t the end of our time together — just a bump in the road.

 

We’ll regroup, recharge, and bounce back.
